Aramex Blu Couriers innovation recognised on national stage

Aramex (formerly Fastway Couriers) has been recognised on the national stage as the Winner for Service Innovation in The Australian Business Awards 2020. The prestigious award recognises excellence in service innovation across Australia and this year the Aramex Blu Couriers innovation came out on top.
 
Since launching in late 2016, Blu Couriers continues to connect franchisees with an on-demand workforce at their fingertips through innovative crowdsourcing technology.

The award win comes at an exciting time for the Blu Couriers innovation as online shopping generates a significant increase in parcel deliveries across Australia.
 
Aramex CEO Peter Lipinski says the award is recognition of the business’ focus on innovation and technology to ensure it continues to deliver excellence and meet growing demand for parcel delivery in Australia.

Online shopping has been booming in Australia in recent years and this has been turbocharged by COVID-19. Aramex has reported an increase of 48% in deliveries for the months of March to August in comparison to the same time last year.

 

“We have seen double the signups to Blu Couriers in comparison to this time last year with our Blu Courier drivers helping our network meet the avalanche of deliveries and returns. With more people now working from home and shopping online we expect the rapid growth in delivery to continue. We encourage more people to sign up to the platform as drivers.
