Australian Skin Clinics Named Fastest Growing Beauty Franchise in Australia

Leading Australian medi-aesthetic franchise, Australian Skin Clinics, has been named the fastest growing beauty franchise in Australia, placing second on the 2016 Financial Review Fast 100 list.

The 2016 Financial Review Fast 100 list ranks Australia’s fastest growing, public and private, small and medium businesses that present solid business practices required to deliver exceptional growth.

With the first franchise founded on the Gold Coast in 2011, Australian Skin Clinics is one of Australia’s original laser and skin rejuvenation clinics and has risen to become one of Australia’s fastest growing franchises, last year enjoying a 311.1 per cent growth and revenue of more than $39.54 million.

Australian Skin Clinics Managing Director, Deb Farnworth-Wood, said the company has achieved rapid expansion due to its successful business model and growing consumer demand for its services.

“2016 in particular has been a very successful and exciting year for Australian Skin Clinics, having crossed the Tasman to establish The Cosmetic Clinic in New Zealand and in December we will continue our expansion by opening our first clinic in South Australia,” said Ms Farnworth-Wood.

“This year the company also joined forces with the leading and largest hair and beauty retailer in Australia, Hairhouse Warehouse, prompting the rebranding of the existing Ella Rouge Beauty franchises to Australian Skin Clinics.

“The hair and beauty sectors represent what is more than a $3.8 billion retail industry and by joining forces with Hairhouse Warehouse we are further positioning ourselves as leaders in the laser and skin rejuvenation sector. The rebrand of Ella Rouge Beauty franchises will result in Australian Skin Clinics doubling our franchise foot print overnight.”

Australian Skin Clinics offers a range of results-driven cosmetic treatments to suit a wide spectrum of customers both in age, skin type and gender.

“Over the years I’ve learnt that owning a successful business isn’t necessarily about being the first, it’s about being the best. The best at what you do,” said Ms Farnworth-Wood.

“Our vision has, and always will be, to make our customer’s look and feel fantastic about themselves. We do this by offering affordable, accessible and results driven cosmetic treatments in beautiful, high quality facilities, delivered by experienced, qualified and highly trained team members.

“Australian Skin Clinics’ innovation, education and commitment to customer care and quality have resulted in our ability to grow rapidly since opening our first franchise clinic just five years ago.”

As for the future, Farnworth-Wood said growth and on-going success is on the cards for the Australian medi-aesthetic franchise.

“It will never be fashionable to have bad skin or not look your best, in fact, there is a growing consumer adoption and demand for laser, skin rejuvenation and cosmetic injectable treatments; so the future is certainly bright,” said Ms Farnworth-Wood.

“We have an aggressive growth strategy planned, with the rebranding of 24 Ella Rouge Beauty franchises to Australian Skin Clinics and over a dozen new clinics scheduled to open in the 2017 Financial Year.”
