Brisbane to get first bite of the world’s sweetest brand

Christmas will come early for Brisbane Cinnabon lovers with the announcement that the world-famous brand will roll into Toombul Shopping Centre on December 14.

While our friends across the country are crying out for Cinnabon’s beloved cinnamon rolls, it will be Brisbane that gets the first bite of the world’s sweetest brand.

Just two years after introducing burger giant Carl’s Jr. to our sunny state, the Bansal Group has now gifted Queenslanders with Cinnabon.

 

“We’re humbled to bring one of the world’s most beloved brands and world-famous cinnamon rolls to Australia,” said Bansal Group Director, Gaurav Bansal. 

 

“We were confident there was a market for Cinnabon in Australia as there’s nothing else quite like it, but we’re amazed by the love for this brand and will do our best to open bakeries around the country as soon as we can.”

 

The first Australian Cinnabon bakery at Toombul will release 3 beloved flavours - the Classic Makara Cinnamon Roll, Chocobon and Caramel Pecanbon - in mini and large sizes. There will also be CinnaPacks of 4 and 9 minibons available.

We all know that the marriage of a sweet cinnamon roll with a coffee is the perfect pairing, so Cinnabon has also teamed up with an award-winning local roastery and will be serving specialty-grade coffee.

Bansal attributes the popularity of the brand to the use of Makara Cinnamon from Indonesia combined with freshly baked dough and cream cheese frosting. Many have tried to imitate these special baked treats but they’re impossible to replicate due to each unique ingredient.
