FCA and Franchising Education Events Update

A new Franchising Expo for Regional Victoria has recently been announced and we are excited about this new initiative and the opportunities it will provide for people in regional Victoria to learn about franchising and what’s involved in running a franchise business.

This Franchising Expo will be held in Bendigo in August and is the first time a dedicated franchising exhibition has been held in a regional area.

Organised by Diversified Exhibitions – who manage the annual national Franchising Expos – with the assistance of the FCA, and sponsored by Regional Development Victoria, this event will provide a great hands-on experience for people looking to start a franchise in Regional Victoria.

Franchise systems will be exhibiting on the day to provide specific information on their businesses and education seminars will be held – led by sector professionals – to advise and offer guidance to those who would like to become franchisees.

For further information on the Expo please contact the FCA on 1300 669 030 or Paul Phelan at Diversified Exhibitions on 03 9261 4532.

FCA – Education

The FCA has put considerable time and energy into lifting the standard of education services and resources for members of the franchise community and people looking to buy a franchise.

The participation in “boot-camp” sessions at the national Franchising Expos around Australia, the staging of “franchisee pre-education seminars” for people looking to buy a franchise and the continuing efforts of the FCA Academy – which provides educational seminars and courses for franchise sector professionals – have all helped to raise the awareness of what people need to do before buying a franchise and, once there, what they need to do to make it succeed.
