Owning A Restaurant Franchise

Franchise restaurants are a popular choice for individuals who want to own their own restaurants.

Owning a franchise restaurant has many benefits over an independent restaurant. The biggest advantage is that a franchise restaurant comes as an instant business with no need to worry about the name, decor, menu and marketing as this has been taken care of by the franchisor.

The franchisee also benefits from owning a restaurant that comes with existing brand recognition, buying power, training and ongoing support.

The downsides of owning a franchise restaurant are a lack of creative freedom, rules and regulations, franchise fees and royalties.
