Rockhampton opened the doors to its first Gelatissimo store Tuesday, 15th March at Stockland Rockhampton, marking the 38th Gelatissimo store opening in Australia.
The new store was the first retailer to open its doors at the new $7.2 million Terrace dining development at the shopping centre.
With a brand new look, the store boasts open production allowing consumers to watch the masters at work as they make and create the gelato – which is available in 30 different flavours.
An Eat in Dessert menu is also available, allowing customers to sit in and enjoy the range of delicious desserts, from Gelato Donuts and Cannoli, to Double Stack Waffles and Crunchy Waffle Baskets. There’s also coffee and cakes available, as well as a seating area for those wanting to relax in the café.
Gelatissimo’s David Lim is the store’s franchisee, and has worked his way up through the Gelatissimo ranks since he started working for the brand nearly seven years ago.
Mr Lim is very proud to be starting his franchisee career in Rockhampton, having managed and worked in Manly, Circular Quay and Watson’s Bay Gelatissimo stores over the past few years.
