The Franchisees from 7-Eleven Epping, Fairfield West and Parkwood were named 7-Eleven Australia’s top Franchisees in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland respectively. The awards were presented at ceremonies held in each state this week.
The Franchisees were recognised as being the best in their state, for providing an outstanding customer experience, delivering excellent in-store standards, and for achieving excellent sales and transaction growth.
Gulshan Kaloiya and Gurpreet Gurpreet from Epping are the Victorian winners. Husband and wife team Pankaj and Himali Malik from Fairfield West are the New South Wales winners, and Daniel Saleh from Parkwood took home the Queensland award.
7-Eleven’s annual Franchisee of the Year Program celebrates Franchisees in the 7-Eleven network who not only deliver outstanding results, but a great customer experience in their store.
“We feel privileged to accept this award for the best 7-Eleven store in Victoria, and will continue to provide the Epping community with top service and products”, Victorian winner Gulshan said.
On their New South Wales win, Pankaj said, “My wife and I are delighted with the award, as we work hard to ensure the customer always leaves our store happy and wants to come back.”
Queensland winner Daniel Saleh said, “Having been with 7-Eleven for more than 12 years, my passion for customer service has driven everything I do from day one; I’m so grateful for 7-Eleven’s support throughout my career.”
Presenting the awards at individual state ceremonies throughout the week, General Manager Operations Natalie Dalbo said that the Franchisees recognised through the awards bring unique qualities and strengths to the business, and together, set the highest standard in overall store operations.
“Each of our winning Franchisees are passionate and incredibly hard working. They are truly among the best retailers, not only in our network, but in the broader convenience channel.
“Gulshan and Gurpreet have both demonstrated a passion to grow the Epping store through impressive sales results and stellar customer service. Pankaj and Himali run a truly family-operated store in Fairfield West, taking care every day in their systems and processes to achieve greater efficiency. Daniel Saleh is a Franchisee veteran; his enthusiasm is infectious and comes through in the great staff he hires, and the excellent customer experience delivered in his stores,” Natalie said.
The state winners will now be considered for the 2014 National Franchisee of the Year Award. The national winner will be announced at a ceremony in Melbourne on Wednesday 19 November.
The National Franchisee of the Year winner holds the title for 12 months, with rewards include travel overseas for the 7-Eleven Franchisee Study Tour, and a position on the 7-Eleven Franchisee Advisory Council.
