The new Rockingham venue opened May 14th in the entertainment precinct at Rockingham Shopping Centre. It comfortably accommodates over 150 diners, deliver state of the art sports entertainment with more than 50 high definition screens, and provides the community a contemporary bar and functions venue including a 120 person beer garden. It is unquestionably one of Western Australia’s best sporting & entertainment venues.
More than forty immediate jobs have been created with the launch of the Sporting Globe Rockingham and we expect that to grow considerably over coming months.
The Rockingham Sporting Globe’s main community focus will be to implement the Sporting Globe philosophy of significantly supporting the local sporting clubs in the local area through unique sponsorship programs.
Franchise Partners for the inaugural Western Australian site is the father and son local team of Phil and Tim Deavin. Phil is a seasoned business operator, having successfully owned and managed a number of businesses. Tim is a current member of the Australian men’s hockey team with his eyes set on the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Tim is a World Cup and Champions Trophy Gold Medal winner, as well as winning Bronze at the London Olympics.
