Bedshed has recently concluded it’s September buying trip to the 20th annual Shanghai International Furniture Show, one of the top industry events on the international calendar. The trip was the biggest trip to date in terms of Bedshed franchisees in attendance.
Joining thousands of international buyers at the Shanghai International Furniture Show, Bedshed franchisees were exposed to the world’s best furnishing exhibits from more than 250 companies based in the Asia Pacific, Europe and America.
The visit formed part of Bedshed’s biannual buying trip to Malaysia, Vietnam and China, where franchisees were provided a valuable opportunity to meet suppliers and tour factories.
Bedshed General Manager, Gavin Culmsee, said Bedshed is committed to maintaining its position as an industry leader by encouraging its talented network of franchisees to stay at the forefront of new product lines and industry innovations.
“At Bedshed we plan at least two buying trips annually to ensure we continually enhance our product selection and to empower our franchisees by involving them in purchasing decisions.
“This trip invigorated new ideas and the group was most excited by the trends seen in Shanghai where there is a strong emergence of various upholstered furniture,” said Mr Culmsee.
Inspired by the buying trip, Bedshed will be further improving it’s already strong contemporary furniture range with exciting new products arriving before Christmas.
