Specialist mattress and bedding franchise, Bedshed, has announced the winners of its 2015 Franchising Awards with a celebration in Torquay, Victoria. The awards recognise franchisee achievements across a range of categories including best presented store, franchisee of the year and a new award for celebrating success.
“There are always numerous awards to present to our franchise partners whose hard work and dedication have made the Bedshed community what it is today. Maintaining success in our 30+ year old business would not be possible without our franchisees who go above and beyond to make the business successful. The awards night is a wonderful opportunity for us to recognise the contributions of everyone in our network,” said Gavin Culmsee, General Manager at Bedshed.
The franchisee of the year award went to Katy Gennai from Bedshed Watergardens.
“This award goes to someone who wholly embraces the Bedshed culture and values. Katy Gennai from Bedshed Watergardens was our winner for 2015. Katy is passionate in everything she does, and works hard to unite our team,” said Mr Culmsee.
Bedshed also gives a national award for the best presented store. This year, the award went to Graham and Helen Gibson from Bedshed Moorabbin, who have a reputation for beautiful layout and eye for detail.
The new celebrating success award went to Russell Fudge of Bedshed Cockburn, O’Connor and Mandurah. Russell was awarded not only for his consistent hard work and commitment to franchising, but also for his ability to manage this whilst simultaneously studying for his MBA. Bedshed also presented awards to the stores with the highest turnover and highest growth.
