Brewing a 20-Year Milestone
Australia’s leading specialty coffee retailer, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, are grinding their beans and perfecting their pours for loyal guests and coffee drinkers in celebration of their commemorative 20-year milestone.
Since its inception in 1996, Gloria Jean’s Coffees has been at the forefront of the Australian coffee industry and has evolved into a national success story with over 360 coffee houses throughout Australia.
Over the last 20 years the much-loved coffee brand has roasted approximately 11 million kilograms of coffee beans and poured 1.3 billion small cups of coffee across Australian communities; enough to fill more than 150 Olympic sized swimming pools.
Managing Director Rick Graham said Gloria Jean’s Coffees has enriched the daily ritual of coffee drinking, and will continue to do so for many years to come.
“Today we celebrate a commemorative milestone for the business, our loyal guests and coffee houses across the country,” he said.
“For the last two decades Gloria Jean’s Coffees has been Australia’s favourite cup of specialty coffee and we endeavor to continue our leading role in the coffee industry.
“We have some very exciting news on the boil that we hope will take our status to new heights – 2017 is the year Gloria Jean’s Coffees turns 21 and we plan to kick off our twenties in style!”
With the 20-year milestone sure to inspire a nationwide “brewhaha”, plans for what Graham is calling ‘a brand wide re-energisation’ are due to be released early next year.
