Carl’s Jr. Continues Queensland Expansion with West Ipswich Launch

Carl’s Jr. continues its rapid expansion into Queensland with the opening of a third drive-thru restaurant this year, and plans for a further three to open before Christmas.

More than 15,000 people were served during opening week at Carl’s Jr. Pimpama last month, and it’s expected West Ipswich locals will be equally eager to experience the premium, Californian-inspired burgers that Carl’s Jr. is famed for when it opens the doors on August 29.

West Ipswich is the third of 20 Carl’s Jr. restaurants that family-owned retailer, Bansal Group, has earmarked for Queensland following the successful launch of Redbank Plains in January and Pimpama in July, with Rothwell, Eagleby, and Hope Island expected to open before Christmas.

The company’s decision to plant roots in West Ipswich signifies it’s confidence in the area’s growth potential.

“It’s a fast-growing and increasingly dynamic area so we’re excited to bring Carl’s Jr. to the people of West Ipswich, and our burgers will very quickly speak for themselves,” said Bansal Group General Manager, Shawn Kerr.

Situated in the heart of West Ipswich on the corner of Brisbane and Hooper St., the company believes they’ll be there for the long-term with West Ipswich locals sure to embrace the burger giant’s affordable, handmade menu classics such as 100% Angus Beef Thickburgers®, Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders™, Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes as well as high-quality breakfast sandwiches, premium coffee and desserts.

The iconic California-influenced menu also features low carb alternatives for the health-conscious with all Carl’s Jr.® sandwiches or burgers available in a lettuce wrap.

Carl’s Jr.’s success in Australia goes beyond Queensland with impressive launches in NSW and South Australia cracking the top 5 for the best-performing stores globally in their first month of operation along with our own Redbank Plains.

The Bansal Group will open another at least another six Carl’s Jr. restaurants in Queensland by the end of 2019 with locations slated for Slacks Creek, Berrinba, Townsville and Rockhampton.

The West Ipswich Grand Opening is on August 29 from 8.30am, and the Bansal Group is sweetening the deal for the first 50 people through the door who will win vouchers to eat free for a whole year!
