Carl’s Jr. Heads To The Gold Coast For Next Stop On Australian Expansion Tour

Bansal Group opens Queensland’s second Carl’s Jr. restaurant in Pimpama

Californian-born Carl’s Jr. is bringing its classic handmade American burgers to  the Gold Coast from July 18 when it opens Queensland’s second freestanding drive-thru restaurant in Pimpama, with Hope Island hot on its heels and slated to open in November.

Pimpama is the second of 20 Carl’s Jr. restaurants that leading family-owned retailer, Bansal Group, has earmarked for Queensland following the successful launch of Carl’s Jr. Redbank Plains earlier this year.

The Pimpama Central precinct is home to the new Carl’s Jr., along with other notable retailers such as Woolworths, BWS, Amcal, United Petrol, as well as a child care centre and healthcare professionals.

“We chose this location due to its tremendous growth potential and the opportunity to make our home in Pimpama Central which is right in the heart of the suburb as well as easily accessible from the Pacific Motorway,” said Bansal Group General Manager, Shawn Kerr.

Gold Coast-ers, and Brisbane travellers enroute to the coast, will now be able to enjoy affordable, handmade menu classics such as 100% Angus Beef Thickburgers®, Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders™, Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes as well as high-quality breakfast sandwiches, premium coffee and desserts from Carl’s Jr.’s iconic California-influenced menu. For the health-conscious, there are low carb alternatives with any Carl’s Jr.® sandwich or burger available in a lettuce wrap.

The Pimpama opening marks the global burger chain’s continued successful expansion in Australia after impressive openings in Bateau Bay (NSW), Redbank Plains (QLD), and Kilburn (SA) all of which cracked the top 5 for the best-performing stores globally in their first month of operation.

Bansal Group will open another eight restaurants in southeast Queensland by the end of next year with West Ipswich also opening in July, Rothwell in August, Eagleby in September and Hope Island in November, while Logan Hyperdome, Burpengary and Berrinba will open in 2019.

The Pimpama Grand Opening is on July 18 from 8.30am and the Bansal Group is sweetening the deal for the first 50 people through the door who will win vouchers to eat free for a whole year! More details to come.
