The beans are in and results of the final week of the 2013 Muffin Break Unofficial Election Bean Poll reveal the Coalition is set to win the Federal Election and be named the ‘Topbeans’, making Labor a party of ‘Hasbeans’.
The Muffin Break Unofficial Election Bean Poll accurately predicted the outcome of the 2007 and 2010 Australian Federal Elections.
During the past four weeks, thousands of Aussies across the nation have cast their bean votes, each receiving a coffee bean to place in Muffin Break display units with cylinders for the Labor Party, Coalition (Liberal/Nationals), Greens or ‘Other’.
With only one day of voting left, 45% of Muffin Break Bean Poll voters prefer the Coalition for Government, above Labor with 35% of coffee bean votes. The Greens received 10% of total votes and the remaining 10% for minor parties.
Serge Infanti, Managing Director of Muffin Break says, “Forget the tea leaves, the Muffin Break Unofficial Election Bean Poll has sorted the ‘Topbeans’ from the ‘Wannabeans’ and the ‘Hasbeans’. With the Bean Poll successfully predicting the winners of the past two elections, the poll has once again attracted a massive response from our customers this year – and we’ve even had a few election candidates visit their local Muffin Break café to cast their vote.”
