Former Forensic Accountant David Bay has traded in his calculator and is using his business acumen to launch one of Australia’s newest and most exciting mobile coffee franchises, The Coffee Guy, on the west coast.
The Coffee Guy is driving its high quality coffee blend over to Western Australia for the first time since successfully launching in the Australian mobile coffee market on the east coast in May 2013, with David set to be the Canning Vale community’s favourite on-the-go barista.
From humble beginnings ten years ago in Auckland, The Coffee Guy has grown throughout Australia to become a local icon in select territories throughout the country.
David said he was attracted by the lifestyle, low entry level and simplicity of The Coffee Guy system and the decision to get on board was quite simple.
“I liked the concept and the people; I listened to what was said and was ready for a career change,” he said.
“After meeting the supportive team and researching the business, I felt secure in my decision to own my own van and be the first The Coffee Guy in Western Australia.”
Lifestyle was the biggest contributing factor when new Franchise Partner David made the decision to move into the mobile coffee market.
“Coffee is a totally different industry for me, but I was attracted to the work-life balance that The Coffee Guy provides, it’s exactly what I’m after,” said David.
“I’m looking forward to meeting new people every day and spending my spare time cooking and travelling.”
David has taken his van to the road and looks forward to meeting new customers and serving The Coffee Guy’s delicious blend to the Canning Vale community.
