Crust Gives Fans Chance to Fly High with GC SUNS

The 2014 AFL season has started with a bang for one of the leagues newest clubs, the Gold Coast SUNS. The team secured several key victories early in the season and has consistently held its position in the top eight, currently ranked eighth on the premiership ladder.

To celebrate the hot streak, Gold Coast SUNS partner Crust Gourmet Pizza is offering fans the chance to win an exclusive AFL Game Package including return flights from the nearest capital city to the Gold Coast, accommodation, exclusive access to the GC SUNS warm-up room and two Virgin Lounge tickets for premium viewing of the GC SUNS match against Collingwood Magpies on Saturday 5 July.

Pizza-loving AFL fans just need to order any large gourmet pizza and a side of their choice using Crust’s online ordering website to enter.

Crust Gourmet Pizza Managing Director Michael Rose said the competition was already proving popular with Crust’s customers.

“Pizza and footy is a great combination, and we’ve found that many of our customers love having Crust delivered on game day to share with their family and friends,” said Mr Rose.

“We’re excited to give one lucky Crust fan the chance to win an exclusive AFL experience, and with thousands of entries since the competition launched earlier this month, it seems our customers are excited to have the chance to win this great experience!”

Crust Gourmet Pizza signed on as key sponsor of the GC SUNS earlier this year after a long history as the player’s preferred post-match meal.

“Based on the Gold Coast and Australian born and bred; Crust is proud to support our local GC SUNS team and AFL, Australia’s national sport,” said Mr Rose.

Crust Gourmet Pizza is part of Australia’s largest multi‐food franchise operator Retail Food Group (RFG). With more than 105 million customer visits a year RFG owns the Donut King, Brumby’s Bakery, Michel’s Patisserie, bb’s café, Esquires, The Coffee Guy, Pizza Capers Gourmet Kitchen and Crust Gourmet Pizza franchise systems.
