Fastway celebrating 25 years of delivery this Courier Day
2018 marks 25 years of delivering to Australia for Fastway Couriers and the network will celebrate this milestone and many more as part of its National Courier Day this week.
Multiple events will be held across Australia this week as the network celebrates success and recognises Couriers’ dedication to delighting customers at the door.
This is the second year Fastway Couriers has held Courier Day. Fastway Couriers CEO Peter Lipinski says it has become an important event on the network’s calendar and highlights that this year there’s a lot to celebrate.
“Fastway Couriers is so proud to be celebrating 25 years in Australia this year. The transport and delivery industry has changed dramatically over the past 25 years and we are honoured to have a number of staff who have been with us for decades,” says Peter Lipinski.
“Our annual Courier Day is a time to celebrate our Couriers who continually go above and beyond to deliver excellence and delight our customers at the door. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to recognise our long serving staff and couriers, some of which have been with us since we first began operating in Australia,” says Peter Lipinski.
“This Courier Day, as we celebrate 25 years of delivering in Australia, many of our long standing staff and couriers have been reflecting on changes in the industry and some of their highlights with Fastway. The first Fastway van in Australia distributed in a world pre-smartphone technology and internet, in a market made up predominately of business to business customers. From snakes, lizards, fish, eggs, oysters, $10,000 cheques and even human ashes there have been some unique deliveries over the years and so many examples of Fastway’s Couriers going above and beyond to delight our customers at the door. We thank our hardworking Couriers and staff for their commitment to excellence,” adds Peter Lipinski.
A number of long serving couriers will be recognised at events across Australia this week including Courier Franchisee Scott Marks in Port Macquarie who is celebrating 25 years of delivering for Fastway Couriers this year. Fastway Port Macquarie Regional Franchisee Bill Laing will also be recognised as Australia’s longest standing Fastway Couriers Regional Franchisee and Port Macquarie Administration Manager, Debbie Beresford, will be congratulated for 20 years at Fastway Couriers.
