Fastway Couriers support staff from Head Office and local depots stepped away from their desks last week and jumped into vans to help couriers with deliveries as part of the network’s inaugural Courier Day event.
Fastway’s Courier Day recognises and celebrates excellence within the Fastway Couriers network with many local depots raising money for an incredible cause. As requested by franchisees at this year’s national conference, all money raised through Courier Day will go towards funding Beyond Blue’s vital support services for people living with anxiety and depression.
A number of long-serving franchisees and couriers were recognised across the country as part of the inaugural Fastway Courier Day.
Fastway Couriers CEO Peter Lipinski says the event is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and dedication from franchisees and couriers as well as give back to the community.
“Our Courier Day events recognise the incredibly hardworking and dedicated Fastway Courier Franchisees across the country who continually go above and beyond to deliver excellence. It’s also a great opportunity to acknowledge some of our long serving couriers and franchisees, some of which have now been a part of our network for over 20 years! We’re delighted to congratulate them on this very exciting milestone.”
“At Fastway Couriers we’re passionate about giving back to the community. At our national conference this year our franchisees acknowledged Beyond Blue as a charity they wanted to support. 3 million Australians are currently living with anxiety or depression and close to eight people commit suicide every day. This is a very real and serious issue facing our society. Fastway is very proud to be supporting Beyond Blue on their quest to support those affected by mental illness and equip all Australians with the knowledge and skills to protect their own mental health.”
