Fastway Couriers raises $8,500 for Movember

Over one hundred Fastway Courier Franchisees and support staff across Australia and New Zealand have raised more than $8,500 for the franchise’s first foray into Movember.

Richard Thame, CEO of Fastway Couriers, admits there has been plenty of heated competition between the couriers in Australia and New Zealand, but says that the real winner is men’s health.

“As a community company, we’re dedicated to giving back wherever possible. With rates of prostate cancer and depression in men on the rise, men’s health is an important issue and something we feel passionately about as a franchise,” says Richard.

The inaugural ‘Tash of the Year’ trophy was awarded to Australian Fastway Couriers Regional Franchisee, Bill Ashby, who not only shaved off his 35 year old mo’ for the event, but raised more than $4,000 on his own.

“We have opted to take part in Movember this year for the first time and to great success. I’d like to congratulate each of our 100 participants and those who supported them over the course of the month,” says Richard.
