For the third consecutive year, Fastway Couriers has thrown its support behind Kiss Goodbye to MS, the month-long event to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis (MS). The Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign is an initiative created by MS Research Australia.
Throughout May, Fastway Couriers’ franchisees have been donating their time and services to pick, pack and deliver ‘Kiss Goodbye to MS’ merchandise across Australia. To further support and raise funds, Fastway Couriers has been hosting a number of events and is preparing to hold a sausage sizzle fundraiser on 29 May 2015 at the Sydney depot.
Kiss Goodbye to MS aims to accelerate Australian research which targets the prevention, better treatment and cure for MS. To help reach $1million for MS research, the charity is calling on the support of individuals and businesses to wear red, get sponsored to do something outside their comfort zone or host a fundraising event.
Richard Thame, CEO at Fastway Couriers, says their franchisees and employees are encouraged to support the cause in any way they can.
“Over 23,000 Australians are affected by multiple sclerosis and MS Research Australia are working extremely hard to find a cure. We’re delighted to support Kiss Goodbye to MS, through our various initiatives organised by the Fastway team,” says Richard.
