Fastway supports Little Sprouts

This month, Fastway Couriers is calling for donations to support Little Sprouts, a charity that provides free baby packs to assist vulnerable families in New Zealand. To ensure Little Sprouts can continue to support families in need, Fastway is encouraging everyone to donate baby products and, in return, the friendly courier experts will donate their time and services to collect and transport the items.

Jo Alderdice at Little Sprouts says:

“At Little Sprouts we believe that every baby deserves the best start in life. Our packs have everything in them a baby needs at birth. They make a huge difference to the health and safety of babies in real need and help to give them every opportunity not just to survive, but to thrive.”

“We work with and support other wonderful charities, like the Neonatal Trust, Women’s Refuge, Birthright, Red Cross and many more. They decide who our packs go to and deliver packs right to families’ homes. As a charity run entirely by volunteers, we can only continue to provide these packs with the support of generous donations from local New Zealand residents and organisations like Fastway.”

Scott Jenyns, CEO of Fastway Couriers NZ, says:

“We’re delighted to support Little Sprouts throughout July. Little Sprouts works tirelessly to assist so many young lives and we’re proud to be able to work with such a worthy cause. As we enter the cooler months, we encourage everyone to get behind this baby gear drive. We look forward to delivering these items to Little Sprouts so they can continue their great work.”

Baby items that are new or in excellent condition such as: clothes, nappies; blankets, swaddles, cot and bassinet sheets, sleeping bags, books and thermometers, can be dropped off at all Fastway New Zealand depots, which will then be transported to the charity’s Wellington and Christchurch offices for onward distribution.
