FC Business Solutions Director, Corina Vucic, received a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation at the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) National Franchise Convention on the Gold Coast this week.
Corina, who has more than 16 years’ experience in the franchise industry, committed to the 18 month program that originated in the USA because it was the only program of its type within the franchising sector with international recognition.
“The program has allowed me to expand my current knowledge about franchising and define my personal areas of improvement,” Corina said.
“I have always been a strong believer in further education, and this program has taught me a valuable lesson that it does not matter how much experience you may have – there is always something that you can learn.”
The CFE program was designed by franchise executives for franchise executives and is the only internationally recognised professional accreditation of its kind.
Originating from the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE) in the USA, candidates are required to meet specific requirements and complete a course of study to be considered for designation by the ICFE Board of Governors.
“I loved how we’re given options to what, how and when we studied – it meant that I could concentrate on running my business when I needed to.”
Presented annually at the FCA’s National Franchise Convention, the designation is further recognition of Corina’s dedication to the franchise industry.
As a committee member of the FCA Victorian Chapter, assisting the Women in Franchising Committee as needed and with a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce, a Masters in Human resources and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training, Corina is motivated to always be the best at what she does.
The CFE designation brings with it more skill and knowledge that she will use to provide even greater professional support to her clients and staff at FC Business Solutions.
In the past 12 months Corina has attended the International Franchise Association’s Convention, New Zealand Franchise Conference and most recently the National Franchising Convention, Corina is now planning on completing a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship.
“The CFE Designation will now allow me to bring my newly attained skills and knowledge into my business, where I will be able to use my experience to mentor my team.”
