At the annual Franchise Council of Australia Excellence in Franchising Awards, held virtually on Tuesday 8 December, FC Business Solutions (‘FC’) won the coveted Franchise Supplier of the Year Award for 2020. This is the third time that FC have achieved this award.
The award recognised commitment and contribution to the franchise sector, focusing on crediting suppliers that have innovated and in doing so have improved the businesses that they work with.
The impact of COVID-19 was taken into account this year and as FC is a Melbourne based company, they are a true example of a company that had to innovate, and adapt incredibly swiftly, to provide their clients with all the support they needed in an environment that was unanticipated and changing rapidly, as restrictions and lockdowns ebbed and flowed. Also measured was the level of strategic work that was provided, as well as the long-term client relationships and satisfaction.
FC’s Director, Corina Vucic, was thrilled with the win.
“This year has been very difficult and it’s a credit to the amazing team I have that we have won this award. They have worked united, but remotely, to deliver to our clients an exceptional level of support,” she said. “When Scott Morrison closed our borders and made plans to hibernate businesses for up to six months, our clients were frantic, needing advice on JobKeeper and how they could manage their workforce. They were looking for us to provide online e-commerce and communication sites for them, as well as seeking our advice on strategies that would help them survive.”
Corina is excited about the future.
“Terrible as the pandemic has been, it has forced an enormous amount of change on businesses. We have compressed into nine months what would normally have taken years of evolution to achieve. I think in 2021 businesses will be energised, focussed and ready to continue innovating.”
With restrictions in Victoria relaxing, Corina is hopeful of getting her team together, in person, to celebrate the win very soon.
