Family-owned Victorian bakery, Ferguson Plarre’s Bakehouse is opening two brand-new stores in Truganina, west of Melbourne, and in Westfield Doncaster this month.
Located approximately 22 kilometres west of Melbourne’s CBD and a short drive off the Princes Freeway, the new Truganina store will give locals a place to meet for a coffee, snack or lunch, and enjoy the sweet and savoury treats that Ferguson Plarre is known for.
Truganina franchisees Varun and Sadhav Puri said they are excited to be joining the team at Ferguson Plarre and meeting locals in the area.
“We can’t wait to meet the locals of Truganina and start building our customer base. Opening this new store is a dream come true for us,” Varun said.
The uncle and nephew team have a passion for bringing people together through food.
“We’re thrilled to channel our passion into our new store and we’re hoping to create a warm and inviting space for the local community.
“Truganina is a special place to us. It has a vibrant culture and culinary scene, which we’re looking forward to being a part of.”
Ferguson Plarre’s Bakehouse CEO Steve Plarre said Varun and Sadhav will be great ambassadors for the brand.
“We are looking forward to having Varun and Sadhav as part of our team and watching them hit the ground running,” Steve said.
The new Truganina store, located in Truganina Central, opened on 24 June.
Ferguson Plarre’s brand new Doncaster store opened on 26 June in Westfield Doncaster.
“Our Doncaster store, located on the ground floor near Coles, is in prime position for a coffee or bite to eat before or after you tackle your grocery shop,” Steve said.
“With a similar design to our Chadstone flagship, the Doncaster store is the perfect spot to meet friends for a sweet treat or one of our award winning pies, pasties or sausage rolls,” he added.
With the opening of these two stores, Ferguson Plarre will have 82 stores across Victoria with more set to open later in the year.
