Australia’s leading specialty coffee brand Gloria Jean’s Coffees has opened its first ever drive thru coffee house in Victoria, west of Melbourne in Ravenhall.
Seasoned franchise partners Steven Li and Tracy Liu have been part of the Gloria Jean’s Coffees family for over six years since purchasing the Airport West Kiosk in 2010 – which was sold after five successful years – and the Craigieburn coffee house in 2013.
With growth in the Australian coffee sector evolving to focus on convenience and coffee on-the-go, drive thru business models have emerged as the solution to time poor but quality-seeking consumers.
Franchise partner and barista Steven said he is confident guests will soon call Gloria Jean’s Coffees Ravenhall their new local favourite as the coffee house serves up high-quality coffee and convenient service.
“My mantra has always been to try new things and work hard, so I am excited to combine these two values to bring the delicious taste of Gloria Jean’s Coffee to the growing coffee market in Melbourne” he said.
“This new drive thru concept will give Ravenhall locals a unique and convenient coffee experience, and I am thrilled to get to know our soon-to-be regulars!”
Steven is inviting all Ravenhall locals to be a part of the celebration with the official grand opening event set for this week.
“To celebrate the opening of our new coffee house, we’ll be holding a big grand opening event on Friday July 15 and welcome the whole local community to come and try our delicious coffee, on the house from 10am to 2pm,” he said.
