The locally owned and operated family business is run by Michael and Karen Andrew and provides courier services to Orange, Dubbo, Mudgee, Parkes, Forbes, Bathurst, Manildra Wellington and Millthorpe. The new depot in Orange continues Fastway Couriers’ national growth and expansion.
Karen Andrew, the new Regional Franchisee at Fastway Couriers Orange, said,
“Michael and I are excited to introduce local businesses and new customers to Fastway Couriers’ national network. We’ve been living and working in the Central West for many years, so we’re really looking forward to bringing Fastway’s innovative products and services to the area. We offer a unique approach to courier services, specialising in economically priced, personalised courier delivery and pick-up services for large and small businesses. With our team being locals to the area, we have a great understanding of the Orange region. We can’t wait to see the positive impact that the Fastway Couriers’ network will have on the local and surrounding areas.”
Fastway Couriers Orange is currently preparing to host an event in late October, to welcome Fastway Couriers to the Central West Region. The team at Fastway Couriers Orange will host local businesses and new customers to the event to introduce them to Fastway Couriers products and services.
“At Fastway Couriers Orange it’s our aim to be recognised as a leading courier brand, known for providing the best possible service. Our service commences with account set up and continues with parcel collection through to delivery, the way our couriers and staff represent the brand, to the manner in which we deal with customers face to face and over the phone. Together, we’re all committed to going above and beyond to ensure that Fastway Couriers Orange delivers the highest levels of customer service to the Central West region.”
“Due to the scale of the area and to ensure the highest customer service levels, we aren’t just setting up one main depot in Orange, we also have territory depots in Bathurst, Forbes, Parkes, Dubbo and Mudgee that assist servicing the large area of the Central West. This enables us to provide excellent levels of service and employment opportunities for the region. We look forward to mentoring these territories and providing them with a thorough understanding of business management and service.”
To complement the services offered by the depot, Fastway Couriers’ innovative Parcel Connect service has been rolled out across Orange and its territories. Parcel Connect is a convenient alternative to postal or traditional courier services, providing parcel pick-up or delivery via convenient locations across Australia, including Orange. It enables customers to send and collect parcels at their local Parcel Connect agent at a time that suits them. The locations, such as newsagents, corner stores and petrol stations, operate outside of traditional business hours and on the weekend.
“Having Parcel Connect locations available throughout the Central West region, offers the ultimate convenience for the customer, which is our number one priority. Additionally, it creates opportunities not only for local retailers, but also for local small businesses and all customers, providing them with the opportunity to pick up and send parcels at a time that suits them. We hope that our excellent service, combined with Parcel Connect and other technology facilities, will support the expansion of small business trade in the region.”
The team at Fastway Couriers Orange are committed to supporting local charities, fundraising, and community initiatives.
“We believe strongly in contributing to the community and, having worked for a charity for the last 30 years along with our other business company, we have been able to support and donate out time to charities and fundraising events in the region. It’s our aim to work with a charity in Orange that supports those who have been affected by domestic violence and try to assist with raising funds to build a women’s crisis centre in Orange.”
Richard Thame, CEO of Fastway Couriers Australia, said,
“This expansion of Fastway Couriers’ network emphasises our national growth and development plans and exhibits our innovative products and services. We’re delighted to have Michael and Karen Andrew lead the new Orange team. With their local business connections and extensive knowledge in business management and operations, we have no doubt that the team at Fastway Orange will provide high levels of customer service and continue to expand Fastway Couriers network.”
