Franchised Food Company adds the all-new Europa Coffee drive-thru to its offering.

Franchised Food Company’s Europa Coffee drive-thru is over-taking the local coffee store; transporting Melburnians looking for their morning coffee hit into the fast lane.

The coffee drive-thru located on Kings Way in South Melbourne opened its doors on Friday 8 November 2013.

Signifying another win for the Aussie franchise group, the coffee drive-thru is the latest instalment in the leading FFCo line-up which already encompasses the iconic Cold Rock Ice Creamery, Pretzel World, Nutshack, Mr Whippy and recently acquired Trampoline Gelato brands.

Located just a stones throw away from Melbourne CBD, the new drive-thru venture hopes to capture city workers on their way to the office, passing lunchtime traffic, local coffee lovers and evening commuters going home, with their coffee ‘on-the-run’ proposition.

Steering away from the typical coffee and muffin combination with a more upmarket offering, the Europa Coffee drive-thru promises a quality brew thanks to Ducale coffee, alongside delicious breakfast options and gourmet lunchtime items including pastries, sandwiches, pies and much more.

With plans to adapt menu items to the Melbourne seasons, Europa Coffee will offer additional refreshing items during Summer and warming food and drink options during the chilly Melbourne Winter.

Colin Hirschman, General Manager of Europa Coffee is thrilled to embark on this new project; adding value to the drive-thru concept and granting people the opportunity to enjoy something they love with added ease.

“Melburnians love coffee and want it on the go, so we’re providing café style coffee and food items at the consumer’s absolute convenience,” he said.

Franchised Food Company CEO Stan Gordon says acquiring the Europa Coffee drive-thru is a “whole new offering, which marks an exciting achievement and further development for FFCo”.

“The drive-thru concept is all about making life easier for people, with several coffee chains embarking on this idea. We are thrilled to be a part of such an exciting new concept and we’re constantly on the lookout for new opportunities in the fun treats arena to enable us to grow. We hope to expand the Europa Coffee brand with the same enthusiasm,” he said.

“We always have our sights set on new exciting ideas that will benefit all stakeholders – not just shareholders but our customers – and we’re keen to continue to be at the forefront of the franchising game.”

“If you’re headed towards the city along Kings Way, look out for the big orange Europa Coffee building. And watch this space… there’s more to come!”, he added.

FFCo was founded by Gordon in 2009 to house the various interests of the variety of food brands. The company is proudly 100% Australian-owned and is the country’s biggest multi-brand franchisor, now with an estimated 180 stores across six brands nationwide.

Europa coffee drive through is open seven days. Monday – Friday from 5am – 6pm, Saturday 6am – 6pm and Sunday 8am – 4pm.
