With the industry alarmingly shrinking from $37b in CY19 by 25% in CY20, the webinar will candidly discuss the industry’s current and future state and provide valuable tips on how to best manage personal and professional wellbeing amidst this challenging time.
Hosted by Hospitality Profitability Expert and Thought Leader, Ivan Brewer, the webinar’s panel includes:
- Wes Lambert, Chief Executive Officer, Restaurant & Catering Industry Association. Wes will speak to the changing face of the industry, the overall hospitality landscape and how the peak body will help support hospitality business owners.
- Grant Jones, Senior Journalist, Media & Content Consultant, F&B & Hospitality. Grant will provide advice on how hospitality businesses can stay ahead now and into the future from an operations and marketing perspective.
- Maureen Thornett, Owner, The Royal Oak Balmain and AHA Life Member. Having owned one of Balmain’s most prominent pubs for 32 years, Maureen will provide an honest recount of 2020, the challenges she faced and how the pub evolved to stay open.
- A Clinician to provide tips on how hospitality owners and teams can manage their mental health on a daily basis during this challenging time and provide referral pathways if required.
The Banksia Project is focused on mental wellness and early intervention in mental health to encourage prevention and recovery. Its programs, developed by mental health professionals, industry leaders and other key professional bodies, deliver peer to peer, community-led support in a safe and supportive environment.
