Popular Australian-Korean restaurant chain, Gami Chicken & Beer, has kick-started 2021 with the relaunch of a fresh new website and smartphone app. Gami are giving Australians’ $5 off their first order when users download the Gami’s Official Smartphone App.

Launching in April 2021, the new Smartphone App will allow consumers to find their closest restaurant, view the full Gami menu, and order their favourite Gami dishes for dine-in, pick-up and home delivery with contactless payment.

Gami has also added a new feature to allow chicken-lovers to view their order history so they can re-order their favourite dishes.

The Smartphone App now enables its Gami Army to accumulate Gami Points, which will be converted into Gami Gold to spend like cash on next orders.

The loyalty program is free to join and easy to use; simply create an account, order your meal via the official app, and watch your points grow. For every $1 spent customers will earn 10 Gami Points, and once customers tally 1,000 Gami Points, they’ll be rewarded with $5 off their next fried chicken feast. Gami Points can be earned anywhere Gami is available – this includes dine-in, pick-up, and delivery powered by DoorDash.

Gami’s new Smartphone App will also be supported by the launch of a new website, with a bright, new look, thanks to Australian illustrating extraordinaire Brolga. Amongst the new updates, the website will also enable customers to order their feast for pick-up or delivery, make reservations in advance, and find their nearest Gami – making it even easier for lovers of the Korean cuisine to get their fried chicken fill.

The relaunch of the new smartphone app and website will be supported by the opening of a further six locations in the second quarter of 2021. The landmark launches come after a challenging year in hospitality of forced restaurant closures and a drop in dine-in customers.

“After a particularly difficult year in the hospitality industry, we are proud to see Gami thriving again and hitting milestone after milestone,” says Founder and Executive Director, Jun Lee. “We have many great plans for 2021 and we can’t wait to continue exciting our fans with more and more offerings.”
