On Monday 13th November, Gelatissimo will open the doors to its brand-new store in Bundaberg, marking the 13th store in QLD and 43rd store in Australia.
To honour the occasion, Gelatissimo have partnered with Bundaberg Brewed Drinks to create a gelato flavour that celebrates one of Australia’s favourite flavour combinations, Lemon Lime & Bitters. The gelato includes the tangy citrus flavours of lemon and lime with a delicate blend of bitters, making for a deliciously refreshing gelato just in time for Summer!
The opening comes as Gelatissimo franchisee, Harry Nguyen, relocates his family from Balmain Sydney, to Bundaberg, in search of a more relaxing lifestyle.
“Once we visited Bundaberg, we fell in love with the chilled vibe and family-friendly lifestyle, so knew it was the perfect place to open our second Gelatissimo store”, says Harry. “We’re excited to collaborate with Bundaberg Brewed Drinks and pay tribute to another local family whose beverages have become iconic refreshing treats for Australians, much the same as Gelatissimo gelato.”
The flavour will be available for a limited time in the Bundaberg store only, located in the local Stockland Shopping Centre’s dining precinct. The gelato café will offer in-store dining and external seating in the alfresco area, where locals can enjoy the full Gelatissimo café menu, including gelato, shakes, gelato donuts, take-home tubs, coffees, gelato cakes and café cabinet items.
The store will offer a free scoop of gelato to the first 100 customers to visit on its grand opening weekend on Saturday 18th November.
