G.J. Gardner Homes unveil Variety Freedom House

Less than six months after the concrete slab was poured, the team at G.J. Gardner Homes Sydney West will reveal their stunning new Variety Freedom House in the picturesque Hawkesbury region at the first public open house on Saturday September 16.

David and Belinda Hogan, owners of G.J. Gardner Homes Sydney West said the hard work and generous support from local suppliers and developer North Richmond Joint Venture, has ensured that they are on track to raise as much money as possible for the home’s beneficiary Variety – the Children’s Charity.

“The new house will be auctioned on October 14, with all profits donated to Variety – the Children’s Charity to help Aussie children who are facing challenges like financial hardship or who have a disability,” Mr Hogan said. “We are aiming to raise $250,000 for this worthy cause.”

Variety – the Children’s Charity (NSW) CEO David Sexton said the funds raised from the auction were so important for the charity, as it enabled them to fund grants, services, programs, scholarships and kids events to help build better lives for kids.

“Last year we helped more than 38,000 NSW and ACT kids and the money raised this year will be put into programmes and services that will help kids in wider NSW and ACT, as well as kids in the North Richmond area, wherever the need arises,” Mr Sexton said.

Mr Sexton said this was the third year that G.J. Gardner Homes had supported the charity through the Variety Freedom House initiative.

“We expect that once the house is auctioned in October, G.J. Gardner Homes will have raised well over half a million dollars for us over the last three years,” Mr Sexton said. “This is a significant sum of money and we are very grateful.”

Keiran O’Kane, Director at Keyline Properties, who will be marketing the property, said he expected strong interest in the house, given its superb location and features.

“The house is located in the new Redbank development in North Richmond and offers uninterrupted views to the foothills of the Blue Mountains from the kitchen, family room and al fresco entertaining area outside,” Mr O’Kane said.

“The house includes four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a media room and has been designed to provide a seamless flow from the family living and kitchen areas through to the al fresco area.”

The open house day on Saturday September 16 will run from 10am – 12pm and will include a BBQ, face painting, Variety cars, giveaways and more.
