Franchisee Michael Godbee, who also runs a transportation company, was on the lookout for an investment and was keen to invest in the franchise model. His daughter, Brianna, alerted him to the Hairhouse Warehouse brand and their interactive website.
“I began researching the brand,” Michael says. “The deeper I delved into it, the better Hairhouse Warehouse looked!”
Michael contacted the group’s Franchise Development Manager, Peter Fiasco, to discuss why Tamworth would be the ideal location for a new store. This thriving rural hub, with its steadily growing population and the right demographics, ticked all the boxes.
“All the numbers add up,” Michael says. “I believe it’s a good investment. And by joining Hairhouse Warehouse, you not only become part of a recognised brand, but you also have a huge amount of resources at your disposal in the form of training, systems, and support. The training has been extremely thorough.”
Michael and his wife, Samantha, are from Wollongong, and have employed six Tamworth locals in the new store, including manager Craig Kolstad.
Samantha, a social worker, is eager to give back to the community by sponsoring events and helping to raise funds for the disadvantaged. Michael is looking forward to being part of the community, and has joined the local business chamber.
Hairhouse Warehouse is spreading the Power of Good Hair right across Australia, and is on the lookout for new franchisees.
“You don’t need hairdressing experience to be successful with Hairhouse Warehouse,” says Peter Fiasco, “You need business acumen, a commitment to excellence, and a love of working with people.”
