Hog’s Australia’s Steakhouse opens second Hog’s Express

After a successful debut in Brisbane’s Myer Centre last October, the Hog’s Express team headed west to open its second venture in the Mandurah Forum, and plans to roll out more across the country later this year.

Hog’s Express is a new quick service restaurant brought to you by the team behind the famous 18-hour slow-cooked prime rib and curly fries you know and love.

However, it’s safe to say there’s nothing slow about the new Hog’s Express. Using the latest point of sale, including online and self-ordering, you’ll be delving into our delicious burgers, ribs, salads or serve of fries in just minutes.

Seeing a need for a model that allows customers to grab Hog’s favourites on the go, CEO Ross Worth said the group will continue to look for opportunities for the express model across the country.

“We know that consumers are increasingly busy and looking for quick, accessible and inexpensive food options, so we’re excited about the future of this model, and the versatility it affords us to pop up anywhere from shopping centres and petrol stations, to airports and cinemas,” said Worth.

The leadership behind the Mandurah Forum restaurant is none other than veteran duo Glenn Sell and Manish Gupta.

Both experienced Hog’s franchisees, Sell is the pioneer behind the Hog’s Food Truck concept in WA and Gupta is the award-winning franchisee behind Hog’s Mandurah and Eaton and is well-known locally for his humanitarian efforts for the homeless.

Gupta also recently opened a Funky’s Mexican Cantina in Mandurah, a Mexican offering from Hog’s, which now has 3 locations across Australia, with more in the pipeline.

Hog’s Express at Mandurah Forum has seating for 50 people and a full multimedia suite to broadcast your favourite sporting events.

A Playstation and playground onsite along with our Kids Eat Free offer makes Hog’s Express the perfect venue for kids parties.

The Express menu includes Hog’s fan favourites such as the Classic Burger, made with 100% beef and prepared fresh onsite, but also newbies such as the Mac & Cheese, Pork Belly, and Popcorn Chicken Burgers on pretzel buns.

Loyal Hog’s Squad members will be rewarded with 15% off burgers at all Express locations.
