The Cheesecake Shop is kicking off the year with the release of a mini-feature video on Australia Day showcasing the stories of their best franchisees which aims to remind us all that, no matter what our backgrounds, we all have our own Australian story. The mini-feature portrays many heart-warming moments and has plenty of the infamous Aussie tongue-in-cheek that the Australian public will connect with on many levels.
The Cheesecake Shop called upon its best franchisees to be a part of the mini-feature, with the video featuring franchisees who were all either state winners or finalists for Franchisee of The Year in 2017.
The video is an opportunity to establish a deeper connection between consumers, the franchisees that lovingly hand bake and decorate their cakes and the brand as a whole. “Australia Day holds a special place in the heart of all Australians and we wanted our customers to see that our franchisees share that passion and that it’s a common thread which unites us all as we each celebrate what it means to be Australian and live in this great country”, says Peter Dable, General Manager of Marketing and Operations.
“Our franchisees are wonderful, hardworking people who put their heart and soul into their bakeries. This will be highlighted in our second video to be released on Sunday 21st which asks five of our franchisees what they did last Australia day. To no surprise, all of them were working in their stores which is a testament to their passion and dedication to their business and customers”, Peter says.
The Cheesecake Shop will be releasing some teasers in the lead up to Australia Day, featuring a quintessential memory about life in Australia from each of the franchisees. Lil from Point Cook VIC reminisces about her Dad’s protectiveness over manning the BBQ; Jay from Currambine WA recalls his Citizenship Ceremony; Deb from Hervey Bay QLD chats about the perfect snag; Amit speaks about his experience coming to Australia and Sumiye takes us back to her childhood summertime spent at the beach.
The videos will be released on Facebook and Youtube and will also be sent to over 330,000 members of the brand’s loyalty program.
The three minute final video will be released on Australia day at 10am. Be sure to spare some time to watch this with your family and friends.
