JAX Tyres & Auto Warners Bay owner, Ian Mace, is participating in the World’s Greatest Shave this year in order to raise important funds for The Leukaemia Foundation.
Ian has surpassed his fundraising goal of $1,000, but hopes to reach $2,000. To support Ian, JAX Tyres & Auto will be donating a signed helmet from Supercars Driver and JAX ambassador, David Reynolds, to the highest donor.
The donor will also be given the honour of shaving Ian’s head, at the JAX Tyres & Auto Warners Bay store on the 5th April.
Ian’s participation has been inspired by his uncle, who he sadly lost three years ago, and his father, Brian, who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in January 2024 and has since undergone chemotherapy, bone marrow treatments, and ongoing health challenges. While Brian is currently in remission, he requires monthly check-ups and continues to live with the long-term effects of the disease.
Ian’s participation is testament to JAX Tyres & Auto’s commitment to supporting causes that matter to its people and the community.
