Chris Newman from Jim’s Pool Care Shellharbour has taken out Australia’s top pool service technician award at the annual 2020 SPASA Awards.
Chris has more than 20 years in the pool service industry and has been a past award winner, but he has never claimed the top gong.
“I am happy just going about running my business and keeping my pool customers happy, but I am also very motivated to succeed and winning the best pool technician in Australia has been on my bucket list of goals,” said Chris.
Chris built a large Pool Servicing business in Sydney with Jim’s Pool Care before selling and moving down to the Illawara region where he took on Jim’s Pool Care Shellharbour and has again built another impressive pool cleaning and pool equipment business.
“Chris has always been a top performer within the Jim’s Pool Care team. Chris has helped train many of the new business owners in and around Sydney and has always been a great mentor to fellow franchisees. We also know how passionate he is about helping his customers and making sure their pools always look their best, so for that I would like to personally congratulate Chris for his amazing service and his string of recent awards,” said General Manager of Jim’s Pool Care, Brett Blair.
Chris Newman also won several SPASA NSW State Awards including Infield Service Technician Award and Best Mobile Service Business Award.
