Jim’s Slashing – Not your common, garden type franchise
The Jim’s Group is heading out of the suburbs and slashing its way into the rural property and land management sector with its latest and 35th division, Jim’s Slashing.
Recently established in New South Wales by Camden district local James Muscatt, Jim’s Slashing aims to go be able to tackle the larger jobs that regular Jim’s Mowing franchisees aren’t able to manage such as slashing, ride-on mowing, light scrub removal, rotary hoeing, paddock ripping, paddock spraying, dirt removal, bushfire reduction and fencing removal.
To launch his business James recently took it upon himself to clear the local Camden Farm Community Gardens of overgrown grass and weeds.
“Regular slashing will help to significantly reduce the bush fire risk in the area,” James explained.
James, who has been farming all his life, has jumped at the challenge of owning his own business.
“Slashing is an ideal fit for me because I have experience with machinery I enjoy this kind of work.”
“But if was important to join a network of people offering a professional, reliable service, and this is why I chose to do this under the Jim’s Group.
James plans to grow and expand his business over the next year or so, and hopes that Jim’s Slashing franchises will become available Australia wide.
“Currently I have one employee and myself and my wife does the paperwork but am hoping that in a few years’ time to have several more employees,” he said.
