Want to know all the latest legal information and issues facing the franchise community? The annual Legal Symposium is a must for all those interested in Franchise Law.
The 2017 NFC Legal Symposium program is designed to provide you with an essential update on legal developments that directly affect the franchising sector. It is therefore tailored specifically with topics for lawyers, in-house counsel and stakeholders in the franchise sector.
This year we have brought together panels of leading Australian and international legal experts to discuss hot franchising issues. This includes a practical session on the things you need to know about the proposed reforms under the Fair Work Act 2009 that seek to extend (in certain circumstances), liability to franchisors for workplace contraventions by their franchisees.
There is the signature case update session for 2017 as well as fantastic concurrent sessions on a variety of topics. By popular demand we have also designed and included for the first time an essential Ethics session.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to get up to speed and current with all the legal issues that are happening in franchising. It’s great for people to get together with their colleagues, to take what they’ve learned back to practice and assist their clients.”
