Lift Brands Evolves Leadership Team to Accelerate Rapid Growth

  • Australia’s Ty Menzies appointed as Lift Brands Global CEO, relocating to Minneapolis
  • Experienced Franchise executive Chris Caldwell joins Lift Brands as CEO of APAC
  • New Zealand’s Andy Peat appointed as Lift Brands Chief Product Officer
  • Global leadership team set to strengthen support for 2,900 franchisees worldwide

Lift Brands, a parent company of fitness-minded businesses, including Snap Fitness9Round and Fitness on Demand today announced a series of appointments designed to strengthen its global leadership team, including a new Global CEO and APAC CEO.

Ty Menzies, former Lift Brands APAC CEO, has been appointed Lift Brands Global CEO, and will focus on helping each brand navigate business obstacles in the midst of COVID-19.

Current Lift Brands APAC Chief Operating Officer, Andy Peat, has been appointed Lift Brands Global Chief Product Officer. Peat will look to pinpoint areas of opportunity for the brands to make an impact in the lives of franchisees and members.

Menzies’ elevation within the company created an opening for external talent to lead the APAC region, and Lift Brands has appointed experienced franchise executive Chris Caldwell as APAC CEO.

Caldwell will focus on club success and will lead the launch of Snap Fitness in Japan later this year. Over the past 15 years, Caldwell has served in senior executive roles at a variety of organisations instilling confidence and creating momentum, including Bakers DelightPie Face and Lenard’s Chicken.

“Even though times are tough right across our network, we have supported each other and remained resilient through our #OneTeam mentality,” Said Ty Menzies, CEO of Lift Brands.

“Together, our leadership team is focused on how we can best support our franchisees, and we are excited to see what the future holds as we help the world to prioritise health and fitness.”

Lift Brands is devoted to investing in team members, adopting a #OneTeam mentality to describe its determination to support franchisees who are running small businesses and weathering the current economic storm. In the APAC region, Lift Brands has responded to a series of club closures resulting from government-mandated lockdowns by ceasing corporate billing if a club is closed in order to put franchisees wellbeing above profits.
