Menulog Partners with SumoSalad to Feed Aussie Demand for Healthier Food

Australia’s largest healthy fast food restaurant chain, SumoSalad has announced a partnership with Australia’s largest online food delivery platform, Menulog, to deliver its range of delicious meal options straight to the office and homes of Australians.

Research shows more than two thirds of Australians are not meeting the recommended intake of vegetables, with ‘convenience’ attributed as one of the major factors. This new partnership will help Australians get more healthy foods into their diet, including delicious salads and hearty soups, at the touch of a button.

SumoSalad Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Luke Baylis said, “We’re really excited about providing customers across NSW and VIC the ability to order from their local Sumo Salad store at the touch of a button. Our partnership with Menulog reflects a growing demand for healthier foods, whether at home or at work, as well as a need for many Australians to include healthier options in their diet.

“One of our major goals is to make better food choices more readily available. We want to take Australia off the podium of being one of the world’s fattest nations and encourage socially responsible private enterprise as a solution.”

Menulog Commercial Director, Rory Murphy, said, “We’re incredibly proud to partner with SumoSalad and expand both our offering of healthier and socially responsible restaurant partners. We know our customers want choice of cuisine and partnering with Australia’s largest healthy fast-food chain provides just that.

“SumoSalad joins our ever-growing and incredibly diverse network of more than 9,000 restaurant partners across Australia. We’re excited to start our partnership with stores in NSW and VIC, with the view to expand in coming months.”
