MFAA award win caps off big year for Smartline

Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisers has capped off a highly successful 12 months with its win at the prestigious MFAA 2014 Excellence Awards.

Smartline’s reputation as Australia’s leading mortgage broking franchise group was further cemented when it was named Retail Aggregator / Originator of the Year at the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia’s annual awards on February 28.

This award win comes off the back of the group enjoying loan volume growth of more than 20% in 2013, and being named Australia’s number one franchise by Topfranchise.com.au for the fifth year in a row.

The group has doubled in size since 2009.

Smartline’s Managing Director Chris Acret said the win was a testament to the hard work of 270 Advisers throughout Australia who are supported by a very professional group office team.

“This award is a great accolade for everyone in Smartline,” he said.

“Our Advisers are among the most successful brokers in the industry and that success has been achieved from having a real commitment to achieving great outcomes for our clients.

“Our success over the past 15 years shows that it works, and over 98% of Smartline clients say that they would use us again.”

Mr Acret said the MFAA award win was also recognition of Smartline’s belief in looking well beyond the initial home loan transaction.

“We’ve never seen the home loan process as a basic transaction, but have always believed that this is just the first stage in building an ongoing relationship with our clients,” he said.

“This ongoing relationship over the course of many years ensures our clients have access to suitable finances as their life progresses and their needs change.”
