Michel’s Patisserie, one of Australia’s largest coffee and patisserie franchise specialists, is predicting that specialty cupcakes will be the way to win your loved ones heart this Valentine’s Day. Sweet treats have long been a traditional Valentine’s Day gift and the Patisserie is anticipating that cupcakes will be this year’s trendiest tasty treat.
Over 450kgs of flour, six litres of vanilla essence and 4,350 large eggs will be used to bake more than 30,000 Valentine’s Day cupcakes, which Michel’s Patisserie is expecting to sell in the lead up to Valentine’s Day.
Michel’s specialty Valentine’s Day cupcakes will be available in two flavours; a red velvet cupcake topped with a decadent white chocolate ganache and chocolate hearts and a chocolate cupcake with an indulgent ganache finish and chocolate hearts. Customers can also choose to share a ‘perfect for two’ mouth-watering signature individual chocolate mud cake.
Michel’s Patisserie Managing Director Tracey Catterall said she expected Valentine’s Day to be a big day for Michel’s Patisserie outlets across the country.
“One of the best ways to add an element of romance to your Valentine’s Day is by sharing a decadent dessert with your loved one,” said Ms Catterall.
“The lead up to Valentine’s Day will be extremely busy for Michel’s as we fulfil thousands of dessert orders and cater to many more in-store coffee dates.”
