MOTTO MOTTO TEAM MEMBER BECOMES THE LATEST FRANCHISEE

 

Following a successful 18-months of growth across the network, Motto Motto are thrilled to announce the brand’s newest franchisee – the group’s former QLD operations manager Bin Li.

 

 

 

 

Bin started with Motto Motto as a restaurant manager in 2017 but his leadership skills and commitment to quality ensured that he would soon progress, and in 2020 was appointed as the QLD Operations
Manager. His role was to oversee a patch of restaurants and coach the future leaders at Motto Motto but Bin didn’t want to stop there.

Having worked within the restaurant space itself and overseeing the operations of a patch of restaurants – he had both the experience and insight to see that Motto Motto was a company he wanted to be more involved with. So he made the jump from employee to business owner, relocating the family to NSW with dreams to build his own restaurant empire.

This partnership marks a milestone for the Motto Motto network, with almost 70% of the restaurant network being franchise-owned and operated. Group Chief Operating Officer Matt Fickling said, “It’s not everyday you get to announce a new Owner Operator, who has also been a key team member that has helped us scale from 4 restaurants to 10 since 2019, all while dealing with a global pandemic! I have never been more proud of a team member in my career and are motto-excited to see Bin grow his restaurant empire in NSW” “I’m fortunate to have been involved in Motto Motto’s growth over the last few years.

The brand has a unique offering, backed by strong leadership and a recipe for success. Living the inner sanctum of the brand gave me confidence to invest in my own location and relocate the family” said Bin Li. “Investing in the brand and taking on the Marrickville restaurant was an easy decision for us to make,”
he said.

Motto Motto currently operates restaurants in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney, and is looking for franchisees nationally as they expand their network and enter the Victorian market.
