While many in the pool industry are experiencing a lag in growth, Poolwerx continues to make a splash with 13 new Franchise Partners joining the business this year, and another three set to land before the end of June.
With 14 in Australia and 6 in the United States the pattern of growth is widespread and ensures the company surpasses its goal of 100 franchise partners by the end of the year.
CEO and founder of Poolwerx, Australia’s largest pool and spa maintenance franchise, John O’Brien said the result proved the company was on track to fulfil its 2020 plan.
“Back in 2010 we created a 10 year vision for the company, with clear numbers we had to hit each year,” he said. “I am proud to say we are on track with Franchise Partner numbers surpassing our projections this year to hit 105 within our business. It’s an exceptional result and testament to the hard work and focus of our Franchise Partners, our leadership team, as well as the true business opportunity we offer with our model.”
Under current modelling, Poolwerx’ year on year turnover is expected to rise from $90 million to $192 million by 2020 through a constitutional multi-unit franchising, new retail stores, corporate stores and greater penetration from existing partners.
“We are very clear on where this business is headed and how it’s going to get there, using the power of a strong franchise brand. Our recent expansion into international markets also presents many opportunities to accelerate this growth.”
