Quest Adds 82 Rooms to the Brisbane Market

Today marks the opening of Quest Springfield Central at 4 Wellness Way, the second Quest Apartment Hotels property in the greater Brisbane area, increasing the company’s offering to 82 rooms.

Greater Springfield is fast becoming Brisbane’s alternate CBD and is already on track to become a major services centre of the high-growth south-western corridor. Quest Springfield Central is ideally positioned in the Health Care precinct, adjacent to the Education precinct, within walking distance to the main shopping area and 35 minutes from Brisbane Airport.

The property will provide a high standard of accommodation that will support Health City and the overall city development as it continues to expand into a destination of choice for business and leisure.

Quest Apartment Hotels Chief Executive Officer, Zed Sanjana said the property is in line with the company’s national growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to meeting the needs of key regional business centres.

“The south-western corridor of Brisbane is of increasing interest to Quest, due to the high level of investment and business concentration. Increasingly businesses appear to be drawn to the corridor due to the strong accessibility it offers. Upon completion, the Springfield CBD will provide an employment base for 52,000 workers and Quest Springfield Central will be able to provide superior accommodation to this corporate market,” said Mr Sanjana.

Quest Springfield Central franchisees Leanne and Brian Donne, expressed their excitement about welcoming the first guests to the new property after months of preparation.

“We have received a lot of support from local businesses over the past 6 months. Interest from the health and education sector is providing tremendous confidence in knowing there is an immediate need for our service. We have also had early interest from local and national sporting associations looking for group accommodation, and from the RAAF Base in Amberley,” said Mrs Donne.

The broad pipeline of nine new property openings over the next year across Australia, and the UK, shows substantial growth for Quest.
