Quest Celebrates Leading Franchises at Annual Gala Awards


Quest Serviced Apartments celebrated 25 years in style by recognising the leading franchises across the network at its annual gala awards dinner held at the Melbourne Museum last Saturday evening.

Quest Docklands was presented the highest accolade, the 2013 Australian Franchise of the Year – as well as the inaugural Hall of Fame award.  

The Australian Franchise of the Year Award recognises superior guest service standards and financial performance as well as the franchise’s excellent standing across the Quest network.

Paul Constantinou, Chairman, Quest Serviced Apartments said the award specifically recognised the franchisees professionalism and commitment to the Quest principles as well as building and running a successful and profitable business.

“Michael and Anne Hibberd bought the franchise in 2005 and have been instrumental in its strong performance across a range of areas and importantly have the respect of those who work alongside them in the Quest network,” Mr Constantinou said.

 Other awards presented were:

 o    Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Service – Lea Koopman, Quest Palmerston

o    NSW Regional Franchise of the Year – Quest Campbelltown

o    Victorian/Tasmanian Regional Franchise of the Year – Quest Docklands

o    West Australian/South Australian Regional Franchise of the Year – Quest Mawson Lakes

o    Queensland/NT Regional Franchise of the Year – Quest Parap

o    Employee of the Year Front of House – Glenys Bentin, Quest Parap

o    Employee of the Year Back of House – Sally Williams, Quest on Franklin

o    Employee of the Year Business Development Executive – Mia Bratsalis, Quest Manly

o    Corporate Office Employee of the Year Award– Peter Ravi-Pinto

o    Supplier of the Year Award – Levart

The evening also marked the celebration of Quest’s 25th anniversary, a time to reflect back upon the success of the business, which now boasts a network of over 150 properties across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Chairman, Paul Constantinou started the business in 1988 just a short distance away from the Melbourne Museum at Quest Royal Gardens in Fitzroy.
