Why not fill your tank and belly at the same time? Sandwich Chefs, famous for its classic 14-hour slow-roasted pork and beef rolls, has partnered with Fresh Trading Co., announcing plans to launch in service stations around Australia.
With its first restaurant launched in mid-October in Northam, Western Australia, eating fresh and healthy food on-the-go just got easier for motorists.
Sandwich Chefs National Network Development Manager, Gary Powell, said the feedback from truckers was overwhelmingly positive.
“Our very first customer through the Northman store was a trucker in his late 50s, and he said the change in food offering the store provided was a breath of fresh air,” he said.
“The partnership will most importantly deliver a product that is fresh, good for you, high quality, modern and satisfies a broad range of tastes and dietary preferences – not a potato cake in sight.”
Sandwich Chefs newest store will be offering a brand-new broadened breakfast range, as well as its classic lunch and dinner options throughout the day. Barista made coffee and freshly squeezed juices round out the updated offering. Customers can easily pop in and order to-go, or settle in to rejuvenate and enjoy a made-to order meal with all the trimmings Sandwich Chefs has to offer.
“Service station locations are a departure from Sandwich Chefs traditional shopping centre locations; however the company has had the ambition to take its very popular product to a broader market where it can cater to a breakfast, lunch and dinner trade and gain more general exposure for the brand,” Gary said. “On our second day of trading in Nambour, we even had a group book a table! That’s never happened before in Sandwich Chefs history.
“With our second store due to open in Nambour, Queensland soon, we are expecting the positive response to continue to grow.
“The Australian convenience industry is constantly evolving, and Sandwich Chefs’ goal is to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers. This new model will be all about providing customers with an easy and convenient experience, without compromising on quality.”
