Some of the superstars of Australian retail have been recognised for their high achievement at Boost Juice’s annual conference in Thailand.
Boost Juice founder Janine Allis joined over 300 store partners, business managers, suppliers and support office team members at the event in Phuket last week.
CEO Scott Meneilly said the week culminated in a gala dinner featuring at which standout performers were awarded for their achievements. The evening also featured celebrity performer Tim Omaji (AKA Timomatic) as a surprise to partners and to celebrate Boost’s milestone 15 years of successful operations.
“This has been a huge year for Boost – we’ve opened 25 new stores in the past financial year alone – and this kind of growth just isn’t possible 15 years into a business journey without having some real superstars in the team,” he said.
“Our store partners are the life and soul of our business and it gives us enormous pleasure to highlight their extraordinary achievements.
“Our National Partner of the Year award was won by Sam and Salim Aad, who delivered great leadership into our network while simultaneously juggling two stores and four young children. They are a truly impressive partnership and we’re really proud of them.
“Mystery shopping shows us what our stores are like through our customers’ eyes so we particularly love it when our partners excel in this area. This year, our Mystery Shopper Excellence award received no less than nine perfect scores – a huge congratulations to our Erina Fair store on that great achievement!”
Each year Boost bestows three awards that represent personal characteristics valued by the brand.
Scott said, “The Kokoda Awards for Endurance, Courage and Mateship are very special awards that embody our values as a business. The recipients of these awards have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
“The winners of these awards were Steve Hilton, from Townsville, Gavin Heseltine, from Albany, and Bhavin Rokadia, who owns six of our Sydney stores – Macquarie, Macquarie University, Broadway, Harbourside, Oxford Square and Bondi Beach.”
Boost continues to experience strong growth as a brand both domestically and internationally, and has just opened its 150th international store in addition to almost 250 Australian stores.
