A commitment to customer service excellence is delivering for Australia’s fastest growing quick service restaurant Soul Origin who have just been announced as finalists for two prestigious national retailer awards, alongside some of the largest and oldest brands in retail.
Since opening its first store in 2011, Soul Origin has experienced exponential growth with over 85 stores now across Australia and this week Inside Retail and Intermarketing Agency have recognised the fast-growing company as one of Australia’s most successful large retailers.
Soul Origin is proud to be named a finalist in both the Customer Experience Innovation of the Year for Large Businesses over 80 Retail Outlets award and the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year Award.
Soul Origin is revolutionising the way people are thinking about fast food. By making nutritious fresh food delicious, convenient and accessible, the company is helping customers to eat mindfully every day. Soul Origin serves excellent coffee made by world class baristas and a wide range of breakfast and lunch options that are all prepared freshly on-site daily.
Soul Origin CEO Chris Mavris said “Soul Origin is delighted to be named as finalists in two of Australia’s 2018 Retailer Awards. To be recognised as one of the best large retailers in the country is a fantastic achievement for Soul Origin, particularly given our first store only opened in 2011. At Soul Origin we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and producing nutritious meals that are convenient, delicious and affordable. We make it easy for our customers to eat mindfully every day. We know our customers are busy and with Soul Origin Australians eating in a hurry no longer need to compromise on quality.”
Friendly trained staff and baristas, a wide range of vibrant salads and sandwiches and store fitouts that consciously foster customer service excellence have been identified as key ingredients in Soul Origin’s success.
Soul Origin’s focus on Return on Integrity has also driven a range of successful corporate social responsibility initiatives including environmentally sensitive store fitouts and materials, partnerships that champion sustainability and supporting charities including the Starlight Foundation, Oz Harvest, The Westfield Foundation, The Blue Dragon Foundation, Homeless Connect and World Vision.
“At the core of the Soul Origin brand is a focus on integrity and as a food service organisation we know we are in a position to make real change to the lives of Australians and the world we live in. We are very proud of our valued partnerships with suppliers and charity organisations and the successful impact of our corporate social responsibility initiatives,” says Soul Origin CEO Chris Mavris.
Soul Origin General Manager Adam Neill says 2017 was a year of growth for Soul Origin and 2018 is set to be even bigger.
“The Soul Origin brand has had incredible growth to date. Soul Origin only began franchising in 2014 and we currently have just four stores that are company operated with the majority of the network run by franchise partners. In 2017 alone, Soul Origin opened 31 new stores, expanding from NSW into the ACT, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. We now have 87 stores across Australia, having doubled our store footprint in FY17 and there’s no sign of this slowing down.”
“Central to this successful growth is our talented hardworking and dedicated group of support staff and franchise partners that are very passionate about the Soul Origin brand and it’s great to see this recognised in Australia’s Retailer Awards this year,” says Soul Origin General Manager Adam Neill.
