Stadium Super Trucks Australia ramp up excitement with Battery World sponsorship
High-flying Stadium Super Trucks (SST) Australia has welcomed Battery World as a major sponsor of the 2021 SST series across five states racing in support events at the Supercars championship.
Powering the series will be Yuasa Batteries which has once again been named the Official Battery of SST Australia. As the exclusive retailer of the Yuasa battery range, Battery World’s partnership will supercharge the event for drivers and motorsport enthusiasts.
Motorsport promoter and head of Stadium Super Trucks Australia Nathan Cayzer said it is an exciting time to have Battery World join as a major sponsor in 2021.
“It’s fantastic to have Battery World, a brand that is so well known around Australia, work in partnership with Stadium Super Trucks after the COVID-enforced lockdown last year cut the season short. The series has a great selection of drivers and the teams are very passionate about what they do,” Mr Cayzer said.
Battery World General Manager Johnny Kennedy said it made commercial sense for Australia’s largest battery retailer to support SST.
“These events are supercharged with excitement and by adding Battery World as ramp sponsor we’ll help send the profile of SST even higher. It’s been an enormously successful year so far for Battery World, our 110 stores are extremely excited to see what this partnership will deliver to the business in the second half of 2021,” Mr Kennedy said.
The origin of Stadium Super Trucks can be traced back to 2012 in America. It was originally an off-road sport before it transitioned to a bitumen surface for increased speed and ramps which added to the thrilling spectacle of airborne trucks.
